1. PAYUNI Services Overview
PAYUNI facilitates global individuals and businesses in making local payments. We partner with businesses, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other billers to help them collect payments from individuals and companies around the world.
2. Use of the Platform
PAYUNI's Platform enables users to make payments for bills issued by businesses, educational institutions, and healthcare providers, for whom we act as payment agents. We collaborate with local banks, licensed payment entities, foreign exchange providers, credit card processors, and other third-party service providers to receive and process payments to the respective biller's bank account.
If you are in the United States and making payments to a U.S. Designated Entity, your payment will be sent directly to that entity, and PAYUNI does not act as their agent. However, if PAYUNI charges fees for these payments, those fees will be paid to PAYUNI.
You must comply with economic and trade sanctions laws and regulations of the United States and other countries. You confirm that you are not located in or associated with countries or territories subject to comprehensive sanctions, including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), and Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) regions of Ukraine (Sanctioned Locations). You also declare that you are not listed on certain sanctions lists.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By accepting these Terms and initiating a transaction, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have not been suspended or removed from the Platform. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. User Accounts and Registration
To access specific Platform features, you may need to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must promptly notify PAYUNI..
5. Payment
General PaymentsUsing the Platform may require payment of fees or other compensation for currency conversion and services provided by PAYUNI. PAYUNI reserves the right to adjust prices and fees for various reasons, including additional processing costs. You agree to pay the total amount requested for a transaction by PAYUNI, including any applicable fees.
PAYUNI's RolePAYUNI acts as a third-party service provider for payment processing. In the case of Direct to Designated Entity Payments, PAYUNI acts on behalf of the Designated Entity, which determines the payment terms. PAYUNI does not determine the payment terms or act as your financial institution.
Payments to Designated EntitiesYou agree to pay the amount specified when you create a transaction, and additional charges will be notified. Payment is due at the time of submitting the transaction. You are responsible for any fees resulting from insufficient funds or chargebacks.
Payment InstructionsFollow instructions provided in your invoice or email to initiate payments accurately. When making a Transaction to a Designated Entity, ensure your account is denominated in the same currency. No cash payments are accepted.
Effective Date of Payment to Designated EntityYour payment obligation is discharged when PAYUNI receives your funds on behalf of the Designated Entity. You will receive a payment confirmation email, although it may take time for the Designated Entity to reflect the payment in its system.
Foreign Exchange FeesThe exchange rate applies only for the specified time, transaction, and Designated Entity. The Amount Received after conversion is the only amount processed. Different exchange rates may apply for additional payments.
Currency Fluctuations and Extraordinary EventsPAYUNI can cancel a transaction due to substantial changes in exchange rates, errors, or uncontrollable circumstances. You will be notified of cancellations, and refunds will be processed.
Delays and AvailabilityProcessing times vary, and some factors may cause delays or cancellations. The Platform's availability is not guaranteed. Refunds may be available in specific cases.
RefundsPAYUNI is not responsible for refunding payments made to a Designated Entity. Refund eligibility is determined by the Designated Entity. PAYUNI processes refunds to the originating account in the original currency, subject to exceptions and additional fees.
Verifying Information; No ChangesPAYUNI may verify the information you provide through inquiries. You cannot change payment details after submission, so accuracy is your responsibility.
Additional Terms for Payments to/from CanadaDifferent PAYUNI entities operate the Platform for Payers in Canada and outside Canada. The relevant entity will be disclosed during the payment process.
Specific Terms for Payments from ChinaFor users in China, the Platform allows payment orders through locally licensed payment partners. PAYUNI charges a Platform Fee. Foreign exchange rates are set by qualified banking institutions in China.
Additional Terms for Payments from IndiaThese terms apply to Indian users. You must comply with the Reserve Bank of India's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS). TCS (Tax Collection at Source) may apply to foreign remittances under LRS. PAYUNI is not responsible for determining TCS amounts, which are calculated and collected by banking and payment partners in India. Multiple bookings subject to TCS on the same day are discouraged. The applicable TCS amounts cannot be refunded.

IRELAND: Additional Terms for Payments to Designated Entities in the Republic of Ireland; Visas.Should a student need a visa to study at certain Designated Entities in the Republic of Ireland, PAYUNI must verify the approval of the visa application by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service ("INIS") before disbursing the funds to the Designated Entity. To facilitate this process, PAYUNI will collect specific information from you or the Designated Entity, such as the visa application number, either during your Transaction submission or after the INIS makes a decision on the visa application. If the INIS approves the visa, PAYUNI will transfer the funds to the Designated Entity. In case the INIS rejects the visa application, the refund process described above will apply.

Agents must use PAYUNI in compliance with these Terms.
6. User Content
6.1. User Content Generally.Certain features on the Platform allow users to upload content, including reviews, data, text, and other works (referred to as "User Content") for publication. Users retain their copyright and other proprietary rights to the User Content they post on the Platform.
6.2. Limited License.
6.2.1. Grant to PAYUNI.By posting User Content, users grant PAYUNI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute the User Content, as needed, in any media formats and through any media channels.
6.2.2. Grant to User.PAYUNI grants users a limited, revocable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Platform and its content solely for personal use. This includes internal business use for users acting on behalf of entities. Other rights are reserved by PAYUNI.
6.3. User Content Representations and Warranties.Users are responsible for their User Content and affirm that they own it or have the necessary rights to grant the license to PAYUNI. User Content should not infringe on third-party rights or violate any laws.
6.4. User Content Disclaimer.PAYUNI does not edit or control User Content but may remove or block content that violates these Terms. Users may be exposed to User Content that could be inaccurate or objectionable. PAYUNI disclaims liability for User Content.
